As the festive season approaches, Midleton College is embracing the spirit of giving with a special collection drive for Meals on Wheels. We’re calling on our generous students, staff, and community members to donate non-perishable food items, Christmas cards, and teddy bears to help local families experiencing food poverty this Christmas.
Details of the collection are as follows:
- Items Needed: Non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, cereals, and more, along with Christmas cards and teddy bears.
- Drop-Off Point: Donations can be dropped off at the reception.
- Assistance by TY Students: Our wonderful TY students will be assisting with the collection, ensuring that every donation is carefully organized and prepared for distribution.
This initiative provides a meaningful way for us to come together and make a difference in the lives of those who may be struggling during this holiday season. By contributing to this cause, we can spread joy, warmth, and kindness to our neighbors in need.
The poster below provides additional details about the items needed and the collection process.
A heartfelt thank you to all who choose to participate in this compassionate endeavor. Together, we can fill hearts and bellies, and remind those in our community that they are cared for and valued.
Thank you also to the Meals on Wheels organization for their dedication to nourishing our community, and to our TY students for their invaluable support.
Let’s make this Christmas season a time of love, compassion, and shared blessings! 🎅🎁🍽️
