Glenamaddy CS 4 /. Midleton College 0
Trailing 0 – 2 at half time, our minor girls put in a determined performance throughout the match against a very talented Glenamaddy side, who dominated play for much of the first 30 minutes.
As the second half was unfolding & just as we were starting to gain a foothold in the game, an injury to star forward Luisa Basso inside the opposition penalty area allowed Glenamaddy to break and score their 3rd to effectively kill off the game as a contest.
Our girls have been terrific ambassadors for Midleton College throughout the campaign & should be very proud of all they have achieved this year. Their efforts this year deserve great credit & bodes well for the future for this group of young players. A huge thank you to our manager, coaches, staff & students for their support & encouragement both today and on all previous occasions.
