Congratulations to our junior girls hockey team who now progress to the next round of the Munster cup after a thrilling game vs Ashton. The girls held possession for most of the game and created many goal scoring opportunities, however a strong Ashton defence kept the game at 0-0 until the final whistle. Going to shuttles, Tamsin Allen and Rachel Sweetnam both scored putting Midleton in front. Player of the match Maebh Deavy put on a goalkeeping masterclass saving each Ashton shuttle and continuing her clean sheet this hockey season. The girls now play Scoil Mhuire in the Munster league play-off next week. Well done and best of luck!
