Corks Schools Cross Country Championships
Well done to our 15 athletes who took part in the Cork Schools Cross Country Championships in Riverstick on Friday. There were excellent performances all around, with each of our representatives extremely competitive in each of their races. The highlights came in the form of our senior girls’ team, each of whom finished in the top 20 to secure medals. Congratulations to Emily Guerin (7th), Alannah Berkeley (9th) and Nicole Ferreres (19th). In a packed 2nd/3rd year boys race Oscar Murphy was our highest finisher, with a blistering finish seeing him make up a number of positions in the closing stages to take 16th.
