Our Midleton College musicians had a wonderful weekend at the Wesley music festival. We had some incredible performers this year showcasing outstanding talent. Congratulations to Final eclipse, Hypno Chickenz and Hells Shore for receiving highly commended in the Rock Bands, Abbie O’Brien and Callum Nuzum for achieving First class honours in classical solo singing, The Poppies for coming 2nd in the Senior Rock bands and last but most definitely not least, our Vocal duet Alex Wade and Abbie O’Brien who placed 1st after a fantastic performance!  Thank you to the supporters who travelled with us and cheered our competitors on. This was one of the largest groups that have ever attended at 60 students, and you all played a huge part in making this trip a huge success!  We look forward to next year already!
