Girls Soccer Munster Senior Final: Midleton College 2  Colaiste Mhuire, Askeaton 1 

After a tense first half in which chances were few for both sides, Luisa Basso scored a terrific goal shortly after halftime to give us a 1-0 lead. An unfortunate injury to the same player shortly after forced her withdrawal from the game. With the momentum swinging in their favour Askeaton forced an equaliser to leave the score level at 1-1.  As the game again ebbed and flowed Maebh Deavy produced the moment of magic to settle the contest.  This sees Midleton College win their 6th Munster title in 7 years! Congratulations to all the girls who now go on to play the winner of Foxford / Coola in the National Semi Final on Monday, January 20th.
