Health, Fitness and Wellbeing Week

Health, Fitness and Wellbeing Week

Health, Fitness and Wellbeing week 2024
Health, Fitness and Wellbeing week was run in school last week. There were a number of new, fun and innovative activities run during the week itself, such as hang tough, dodgeball, basketball, swimming, crossbar challenge, zumba, uni-hoc, yoga and mindfulness.

Also, nutritionist Paula Duggan spoke to all students on Wednesday, which gave everyone a fascinating insight into the world of nutrition, fitness and overall wellness.
Energetic Zumba instructor Rosalia Shava ran no less than 6 consecutive classes to students in all year groups as well, which was a big hit with everyone!
All other activities were taken by staff during break and lunch times, giving students an opportunity to experience these activities, some for the first time, and to increase their overall activity levels too.
The week was a great success, special thanks must be given to all staff who helped out in running it, it was a real team effort!
